In addition to over 6m of bench space, access to thousands of electronic components for development purposes and an extensive range of measurement and test equipment, ATEECC also offer clients use of specialist EMC test equipment for 'susceptibility' and 'conducted emissions' testing, which, when used at early stages in a development, can highlight problems and prevent embarrassing and expensive failures at later or final stages. Due to the high costs involved in hiring such equipment, its use is often left until the pre-compliance testing stage, where the discovery and rectification of problems can be very time-consuming and expensive. Engineers and technicians from your company can use the facilities available in to test, modify and re-test circuits, in order to establish and rectify any weak points in a design or PCB layout.

The lab has been equipped with a wide range of equipment, which appeals to many different disciplines including digital, analogue, mixed-signal, audio and embedded. In addition to EMC test and stimulus equipment by SCHAFFNER and PMM, we can also offer the availability of a wide range of test equipment, incuding:- GOULD 8-channel digital storage oscilloscope with ISOLATED INPUTS and GOULD 4-channel 400MS/s digital storage oscilloscope with thermal plotter, YOKOGAWA digital power analyser, CALIFORNIA INSTRUMENTS digitally programmable1kW variable voltage and frequency (16Hz - 400Hz, 0-272V) generator, temperature measurement and data logging equipment.

Office Facilities
To enable reports to be generated, and data to be collated, the facilities offered also include the use of a desk with PC running Microsoft 'Office 2000', Adobe 'FrameMaker' V6.0 and 'Acrobat distiller' (creates PDF files), IE6 with permanent 2MB/s 'broadband' internet connection allowing virtually instant access to the web for obtaining data sheets etc., mono A4 laser printer, A3 laminator, comb and wire ring binding machines, a thermal binder, meeting table and 'white board'. Access to a A3 colour laser printer is also available.

Booking
Simplified booking - Companies use our facilities for many different reasons, so we aim to be as flexible as possible in order to suit the needs of clients. Wherever possible, all the equipment in the lab is made available to the client for the length of the hire period. This eases the task of deciding which pieces of equipment will be required at the time of booking.
